Things take a turn for the worse.

To clarify things, I'm a 4th year High School Student and so much younger than the rest, it's expected that things are really hard for me.

Last Wednesday, my Physics teacher wants the top 5 students of the class to tutor 2 students at the same time. It's called "Pair-teaching". But with a twist, the students we will teach are the ones who will take the quiz later that day. And instead of letting us, the top 5 students of the class, join in taking the quiz, our score will depend on half the sum of the scores of the students we'll teach. And worst of all, I WAS ASSIGNED TO THE TWO LOWEST STUDENTS IN CLASS. I could work with one but the other, I wasn't sure.

I told my dad about it. He said to try and talk some sense into my teacher. If he won't budge, go straight to the head teacher of the High School Department or to the Faculty Office. I wanted to see how it would turn out first.

That afternoon, I watched them as they took their quiz but a giant twist happened.  One of the students I taught was caught cheating, and he used the reviewer I gave him. I talked to my teacher, saying it was unfair that we were gambling our grades. He said that the purpose was to  "help our classmates to cope up with the lesson". I excused myself and ran to the office to complain and tell the only teacher I've trusted for 2 years, the Head of the High School Department. I told her about it but was surprised to see my classmates looking for me.

When I went with the Head to the library to try and talk to my teacher, he kept persisting that I never said anything to him and that he hated my attitude. I told him, "Do I really need to bring my dad here to talk to you?" and he said, " I won't change my mind. I have a principle. What I said is what I'll do. I have one word. I stick to what I say and nobody will change that."

I told my dad that it was resolved since he allowed me to take a remedial quiz.

I was somewhat surprised that he went to the office the next day to complain.
